The Arcachon Bay, endless beaches sprinkled with warm sand and surrounded by oyster shacks. It is the epic, salty and natural scenery Morgane and Guillaume have chosen for their wedding in France.
Joyful wedding preparation and clothing
It’s summer in the South-West of France. This morning, the deep blue sky is dazzling and the heat is already here. I meet with Morgane, the bride, who is getting prepared with the skilled hair dresser Façon Juliette. The two young ladies clearly share a great complicity and their happiness is filling the room with good vibes. The hair style of the bride is created in between two bursts of laughter. A pretty braid in a bun. On their side, the boys are starting to help the groom getting dressed in a friendly and joyful atmosphere. The groom’s friends are very enthusiastic, they are having a lot of fun during the photo shoot. The groom puts his cufflinks on, then his friends pass him the suspenders, not without a few bursts of laughter. When Guillaume’s friends and best men try to tie his bow tie, no one seem to be able to do it! What a great and fun memory. The florist has arrived with fresh flowers for the best men’s buttonholes.
A bunch of flowers, a touch of make-up, a dress
After the floral decoration is arranged on the car we are heading back to the bride. Morgane has just finished with the make-up. She is very elegant. The make-up artist Belle Nomade comes with a well decorated truck. Morgane cannot wait any longer and she runs to her bridesmaids. Everyone has tears in their eyes. The young bride is simply radiant. Morgan then puts her wedding dress on and the bridesmaids bring her neckless, bracelet and earrings. Morgane’s daughter is dancing in the room next door. A unique atmosphere.
A wedding on the sea
The bride has arrived at the City Hall in Teich, she is very moved. You can notice a few tears in her eyes when Guillaume and their daughter Lou open the car’s door. All guests are here to welcome the bride. They take place in the City hall for the ceremony. The room is filled with nice pearly white colors. Bride and groom will never forget this intense moment of emotion. Especially Guillaume’s father beautiful speech. The religious ceremony is as good as the one at the City Hall. The church is luminous and has a superb architecture. Guillaume enters with his mother. Morgane joins him with her three brothers. A very touching scene. After the ceremony, newlyweds and guests will enjoy a cocktail on the sea. The oyster shack is located at Larros harbor, in Gujan Mestras. Later in the afternoon, Morgane, Guillaume and their daughter will escape for a couple and family photo shoot. The soft light of the end of the day is perfect. They can enjoy a quiet moment just the three of them, before returning to their guests.
In the distance we can hear the glasses jingling and the laughter. The sun is slowly moving down and sets quietly behind the horizon.
